During their visit to the International Dolls Museum in Delhi, the ladies of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia donated dolls in traditional Armenian costumes brought from Armenia.
Lusine Ter-Hovhannisyan, the spouse of the Ambassador presented handmade works by Armenian artisans to Yamuna Shankar, the daughter of the museum’s founder. She observed that the lack of the museum section dedicated to Armenian dolls was noticed on her earlier visit.
According to Navin Menon, the officer incharge of the Shankar’s International Doll Museum in Delhi, the museum features more than 7,500 exhibits from 85 different countries across Europe, the Americas, Australia, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, as well as India.
